SoFo Turtle Walk

An interactive discussion about the 4 species of sea turtles that utilize our waters seasonally, how human interaction threatens their lives during their time in our waters, and what the community can do to help as we work to protect these threatened and endangered species. Following the lecture we will walk the beach to learn how to monitor the beaches for hypothermic sea turtles, and remove harmful marine debris.
