Getting to Know AMCS and Sea Turtle Necropsy Training

Interested in helping Atlantic Marine Conservation Society "AMSEAS" promote conservation of the marine environment through action? Join us for an information session!

We will discuss what our organization does and how you can get involved, including joining our volunteer program, participating in a beach cleanup, attending a lecture, and more. Conservation starts with you!

After getting to know AMSEAS, biologists will be discussing all of the effort that goes into examining deceased sea turtles that were up on the beach. Demonstrations of the equipment used, including personal protective gear, will be included in this portion of the program. Necropsy examinations require a lot of support from our volunteer core, so this training is a great introduction to those who are interested in helping with that work.
