Support our Sea Turtle Critical Care Triage Facility

In the fall of 2020, NOAA Fisheries requested our help to provide relief to our network partners as a temporary critical care triage facility for cold-stunned sea turtles. Since that time, we have admitted 60 endangered cold-stunned Kemp’s ridley sea turtles from New England to our Critical Care Sea Turtle Facility.

As the newest sea turtle facility in the stranding network, we are immensely proud to provide vital medical care and rehabilitation to cold-stunned sea turtles until they can be transported south, either to be released or to other facilities for additional rehabilitation.

As we reflect on this achievement and prepare for what will likely be a fourth year helping rehabilitate cold-stunned sea turtles, we realize none of this would have been possible without your support.

This Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to AMSEAS to help us continue giving these endangered sea turtles a second chance at life and fulfill our mission of promoting marine conservation through action.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on support from the public, donors, and members to help us protect and conserve the marine environment and all its precious inhabitants.

There are ways your donation can help make a big difference for AMSEAS:

Feed a Sea Turtle: $25.00

Medicine and Treatments for Sea Turtles: $50.00

Food for One Week: $125.00

Medicine and Treatments for One Week: $250.00

Thank you to all our supporters and donors for being a monumental part of this journey and for supporting our Critical Care Sea Turtle Facility.

Conservation starts with you!
